Terms of use
What you can expect from this platform, and what it expects from you.
Accounts
You need an account to register for events, apply for a space or submit proposals. Give a real name and a working email address - the name is shown to coordinators of events you register for, and the email is how the network reaches you.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Roles (coordinator, Head of Programs, administrator) are granted by administrators and cannot be self-assigned.
What is visible to whom
Approved events appear on the public calendar, along with the hosting space and its city. The spaces directory is public.
Coordinators of an event see the name and profession of everyone who registered for it. They never see registrants’ contact details.
Proposals, reviewer feedback, event designs, meeting links and post-event reports are visible only to the coordinator who owns them and to Heads of Programs and administrators.
Content you submit
You keep ownership of proposals, designs, documents and reports you upload. By submitting them you allow the network to store them, show them to reviewers, and use approved event details and aggregate reporting figures in its public calendar and network statistics.
Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, and do not upload personal data about other people beyond what a proposal or report actually calls for.
Acceptable use
Use the platform for network business. Do not attempt to access another user’s data, interfere with the service, or submit content that is unlawful or harassing. Accounts and spaces can be deactivated for misuse; a deactivated space makes its proposals read-only rather than deleting them.
Availability and changes
The platform is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. These terms may change; material changes will be reflected on this page.
Questions about any of this belong on the help page.
